in 2011 ID&C supplied over 100,000 RFID wristbands to Coachella Festival to be be used with a ticketless access control solution.
Custom fabric wristbands were sent out to ticket holders in the post prior to the festival and used to gain access to the festival site. An RFID microchip fitted inside the cloth wristbands linked each patron to their ticket information held on a database, providing a unique security identification solution.
